David Dichelle, M.A., was born and raised in New York and has now lived in Europe, mostly Germany, for over two decades. With an M.A. in history, linguistics, and cultural studies, David has been working as a freelance translator and editor since the last millennium. He also taught translation at the University of Leipzig for five years as well as English at various universities and institutes. His work has focused, among other things, on religion, philosophy, linguistics, and social sciences. David enjoys long bike rides and studying all sorts of languages, from Lithuanian to Ancient Greek. He can even order his coffee in some of them.
